Compact Design, Advanced Features

At the IBC Show (Stand 8.D78), Wisycom unveiled its MTP41S Pocket Wireless Transmitter, a miniature device that packs advanced features into an extremely small and light frame. The transmitter was designed specifically for professional wireless microphone applications, including broadcast, film, location sound and live sound reinforcement.

The MTP41S incorporates all the features of Wisycom's larger MTP40S transmitter in a compact package. A key addition is the integrated hardware limiter, which maintains distortion levels below three percent while maintaining quality. This feature standardizes performance across Wisycom's body-pack transmitter product line.

Enhanced Performance and Features

The MTP41S boasts 100mW output power, offering top-notch performance in today's crowded RF spectrum. The hardware limiter also helps control peak audio levels, while the device transmits a digitally modulated sub-carrier suitable for tone-squelch operating, remote battery monitoring and optional PTT operation.

The transmitter offers up to 232 MHz bandwidth in the 470/798 MHz range, providing a wide range of frequency options. Setup is fast and easy via an OLED display, gain/frequency button and 'joggle' selector. The MTP41S features flexible PCB (no connectors) for extended reliability, as well as an ultra-light metal alloy body.
