Wisycom has announced the MPR52-ENG Dual Channel Diversity Receiver, a cutting-edge solution designed specifically for professional Electronic News Gathering (ENG) applications. The receiver features two built-in diversity receivers with both analogue and digital outputs, making it an ideal choice for ENG professionals.
The MPR52-ENG boasts up to 790 MHz bandwidth in the 470/1260 MHz range, as well as next-generation multiband front-end filtering. Country-specific Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters are also available, ensuring compatibility with different frequency ranges worldwide.
Advanced Features and Flexibility
The receiver's extreme low-noise Voltage-controlled Oscillator (VCO) allows for automatic and ultrafast spectrum scanning via infrared technology. This feature can be controlled via USB with Wisycom's Manager Software, providing users with a high degree of flexibility.
The MPR52-ENG also features DSP-based operation, offering multi-companding operations and extreme flexibility. The receiver's dual diversity configuration includes two whip antennas, along with convenient function buttons, such as a dedicated frequency scan option.
Battery Management and Connectivity
The MPR52-ENG offers flexible battery management options, including the use of standard alkaline batteries or lithium battery packs that can be charged via USB or the dedicated charger. This ensures users have multiple power options to suit their needs.
