The broadcast industry has been abuzz with the release of Wisycom's latest firmware update for its MCR42 UHF Miniature Camera Receiver. The updated firmware brings a host of new features to the table, including seamless integration with Sound Devices' new 688 mixer/recorder and SL-6 SuperSlot.

Enhanced Capabilities

The MCR42's latest firmware update allows users to take advantage of two analog channels or a digital AES3 output. Additionally, the receiver can be managed and monitored by the SuperSlot, enabling advanced features such as probing TV channels for interference on a wide spectrum.

This enhanced capability enables users to connect their 688 mixer/recorder directly to the MCR42, streamlining production processes and simplifying power distribution and interconnection. The update also includes a new SLK-IKSS rear panel adapter, which further enhances the receiver's capabilities.
