Visual Productions has introduced the KioscTouch2, a touchscreen controller designed to simplify lighting and AV management. The device offers an intuitive interface that transforms complex control tasks into streamlined experiences.
Features of KioscTouch2
The KioscTouch2 features an eight-inch capacitive touchscreen display with high resolution and responsive performance. Its design allows for versatile mounting in either portrait or landscape orientation, ensuring it fits seamlessly into various environments such as theaters, museums, and live events.
Installation and Customization
The controller’s magnetic backplate facilitates easy installation, while an optional security screw ensures stability. A single Ethernet cable provides both power and connectivity via PoE, reducing clutter during setup. The interface is fully customizable, supporting up to 16 pages of user-defined layouts with elements like buttons, sliders, color pickers, XY pads, and images.
Integration and Flexibility
KioscTouch2 integrates seamlessly into Visual Productions’ control ecosystem, including the CueCore and DaliCore systems. It also supports standard protocols such as UDP, TCP, and OSC for communication with third-party systems. Users can design layouts using the free Kiosc Editor app available on Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu.
The device operates in standalone or remote modes, syncing with connected control systems. Its companion software, the Kiosc App, runs on tablets, phones, and computers, providing additional flexibility for users.
