Video Devices Unveils PIX-E5H

The Video Devices PIX-E5H, a 4K recording monitor with HDMI-only inputs/outputs, has begun shipping. This latest addition to the company's PIX-E series offers customers without SDI capabilities a high-quality monitoring solution.

Alongside the new product, Video Devices has also released firmware v1.04 for the entire PIX-E family, which includes several enhancements and new features.

Firmware Update Details

The updated firmware adds HDMI recording triggers for Sony and Canon cameras, as well as support for the 500GB Samsung 850 EVO mSATA solid-state drive in the removable USB-based SpeedDrive. Additionally, it increases the previous HDMI audio inputs and outputs to four and eight channels, respectively.
