Utah Scientific has expanded its Technology Partner Program by integrating technologies from Audinate, Bitfocus, and Skaarhoj. These partnerships aim to improve interoperability in hybrid SDI/IP environments, offering more options for audio-over-IP and device control.
New Integrations Enhance Audio and Control
Through its partnership with Audinate, Utah Scientific has implemented native Dante audio I/O within its routers. This integration eliminates the need for external MADI-to-Dante conversion, streamlining IP audio routing for broadcast and AV facilities. Joshua Rush, CMO of Audinate, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting that it provides a solid 'best-of-both-worlds' solution.
Bitfocus Enhances Control Platform
The integration with Bitfocus introduces seamless interoperability with its Buttons facility-wide control platform. Utah Scientific routers can now be switched and automated alongside other devices in hybrid environments without custom engineering or proprietary interfaces, thanks to the Bitfocus Connections Program.
Skaarhoj Adds Desktop Control Options
The addition of Skaarhoj expands Utah Scientific's control surface options by enabling the Skaarhoj AirFly Pro as a desktop alternative. This compact, affordable control surface complements existing solutions and offers intuitive functionality for day-to-day operations.
Broader Ecosystem Supports Hybrid Workflows
Utah Scientific's broader partner ecosystem includes companies like Apantac, Arista, Embrionix, and Norwia. These partners provide complementary technologies that support routing and master control platforms across IP, SDI, and fiber-based workflows.
NETGEAR also supports ST 2110 buildouts with its M4350 switch family, offering an economical foundation for IP infrastructures and simplifying deployment. John Henkel, product marketing director at NETGEAR, highlighted the value of reliable networking in modern IP workflows.
