Melbourne, Australia - Mediaproxy Pty. Ltd., the industry leader for broadcast compliance logging, content monitoring and transport stream analysis, today announced that the Trinity Fellowship Church of Amarillo, TX, has chosen LogServer as the backbone of a novel Quality of Experience (QoE) monitoring system for its Texas and Oklahoma-based church campus locations.
Trinity Fellowship Church (TFC) is a non-denominational mega-church ministry with a 340,000 sq.-ft. worship center and main campus in Amarillo, Texas, and ten satellite campuses in Texas and Oklahoma. Under Jimmy Evans, senior pastor, TFC shares its message with more than 14,000 members by making extensive use of its state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and video systems.
"Quality of Experience is a term we have coined for our program to provide a means to monitor and evaluate the church services at each location. The ability to monitor live feeds from campuses and then review them offline in team meetings has proven invaluable as we seek to provide the most impactful church services possible. LogServer offers a versatile set of professional applications for multi-viewing, concurrent multi-channel playback and network streaming," says Michael Wells, Director of Operations for Trinity Fellowship.
At Trinity, broadcast-quality high-definition point-of-view HD-SDI cameras feeds are encoded into H264 MPEG-TS streams with DVEO MultiStreamer IP encoders, streamed across business-class cable modems to the main campus using DVEO Dozer transport technology, and are recorded and monitored with Mediaproxy's industry leading logging and monitoring platform.
TFC evaluated a variety of security cameras and DVR applications before adopting a HD quality, broadcast-based infrastructure. Wells added, "The resolution, frame-rate, audio quality, and encoding quality of even higher-end security cameras didn't give us the level of performance we needed to properly evaluate our services. The full HD quality-recording of the transport streams, combined with the ability to export clips in full HD quality gives us a level of detail that is unmatched by video-security DVR applications."
Wells continues, "What sets Mediaproxy's LogServer system apart is that anyone on our staff with domain permissions can monitor and rewind up to six feeds simultaneously securely from anywhere on the Internet so that you can immediately review and make notes on issues that need to be addressed. This enables our Worship Pastors, Campus Pastors, Production Leaders, and others to all participate in this continuous improvement process."
