In 2013, File-based Workflows is the clear leader, followed some way behind by H264/MPEG-4 Part 10. Following well behind are Mobile Video Streaming; Cloud-based software subs. and Smartphone shooting, editing &  uploading, rounding out the top five.

When looking ahead at 2014 and 2015 the key technologies switch to the Cloud! Cloud-Based Software Apps  Cloud-based Archiving , Cloud Based Software Subs. and Cloud-Based Tier-2 Storage; Local Cloud to Replace Data Center for Media Related Ops and Cloud-based Editing round out the top six.
