The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) has announced that Technicolor has pledged a contribution to The Next Century Fund of the SMPTE Centennial Campaign.
SMPTE's Centennial Celebration
The campaign, established in recognition of SMPTE's 100-year anniversary in 2016, aims to support enhancements in standards system infrastructure and raise the level of support for the development of new standards.
The funds will also provide membership opportunities to new geographic areas and emerging media technology sectors, as well as expand educational programs that advance the expertise of SMPTE members.
