Two upcoming events in the San Francisco area will give broadcast engineers and producers a chance to get hands-on with Studer Audio's latest mixing consoles and RED Cameras' broadcast-capable solutions.
Studer Audio Showcase
The first event, hosted by Advanced Systems Group (ASG) on August 18, will feature a demo production trailer from 5-7:30 p.m. at Thresher Communication & Productivity in Sunnyvale. The trailer will showcase Studer's 52-foot demo production setup, complete with mixing consoles, speakers, and signal processing products.
The main room is anchored by the Studer Vista X large-scale mixing console, while the second room offers demos of the Studer Vista 1 and other digital mixing consoles. ASG will also offer a special trade-in promotion during the event.
RED Cameras' Broadcast Solution
RED Digital Cinema's broadcast solution, the REDCAST Module, is designed to allow shooters to stream live in 4K and/or HD while recording 6K REDCODE RAW masters. The module supports advanced 3D LUT capabilities, providing colorists and post-production teams more tools to achieve the perfect look.
