The JVC Professional Products Company is turning heads with it's new 800 series professional HD camera line scheduled for release this coming March and will be showcased at IBC 2014. This innovative concept is anchored by the companies announcement of JVC Professional Streaming Services which includes the new JVC Broadcaster server powered by Zixi Technology. The scheduled release also in March will have a suggested list price of $1,995.00 US, and will require a subscription to JVC Professional Streaming Services. The user option of both physical and cloud based solution streaming is breakthrough, plus the ability to transmit live to broadcast or Web is just fantastic!
"Today's high-speed and robust 4G LTE connections provide the bandwidth necessary for live HD video streaming, from the field," said Edgar Shane, general manager of engineering, JVC Professional Products. "Through our partnership with Zixi, we can provide a stable workflow that helps broadcasters and Web content producers be first on air and first online." 
Taking a look at the GY-HM850 which includes an interchangeable Fujinon 20x zoom lens is list priced at $7,995. The camera provides such features like: Three 1/3" CMOS Sensors, provides full HD 1920x1080 up to 60p, and H.264 recordings up to 5oMbps. The modular design is well suited for both the field and studio- allowing for connection to the KA-M790G multi-core studio interface or upgrade to the KA-F790 Series Remote Fiber Adapter which both feed the RM-HP790 camera control unit for EFP staging or the user can record through the Dual SDHC/SDXC memory cad slots- recording at MPEG-2/AVCHD Recording and Dual Codec. The camera can record multiple file formats for native workflows including Quicktime MOV, XDCAM EX compatible MP4, AVCHD Progressive, and H.264 Extreme High Quality at up to 50Mbps for ENG style production.
The GY-HM90U also includes the interchangeable Fujinon 20x zoom lens but this unit lists at $9,995. The cameras FALCONBIRD Image Processing Engine can process large amounts of video data at high speeds, as well as, the 2D DNR processing and dynamic range makes this high quality image producing camera a very solid choice! The direct file transfer from shooting location is so user friendly and simple to use, granted, the requirement is that you have a Wi-Fi, 4G-LTE/3G modem, or USB-RJ45 adapter to the USB hot interface to begin transferring files directly from your shooting location to the cloud or physical server! Another nice feature is the you can view your footage live on a ISO/Android smartphone or tablet when you are connected to the Wi-Fi, as well as, controlling the camera's primary functions such as record, pause, and zoom. The internal GPS unit is built-in to the camera which provides the shooting location information for metadata purposes!
