This updated document reflects recent advancements such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enhanced security measures, open-source AI practices, and emerging frameworks like ISO/IEC 42001.

The report, which is an update to the 2023 version, aims to provide media professionals with a comprehensive understanding of AI and ML technologies. It explores their potential impact on media workflows, emphasizing the importance of standards for interoperability.
