RTW has announced the release of new firmware for its TouchMonitor TM7 and TM9 devices. The update includes a range of enhanced features that are designed to improve the user experience.

New Features

The new firmware adds a 12th octave RTA mode with 125 bands, providing users with more detailed frequency analysis. Additionally, the high-resolution LF dedicated analyzer has been improved, offering a more accurate measurement of low-frequency audio.

Other features include cinema loudness modes, such as TASA and SAWA, which provide adjustable tolerance ranges for loudness measurements. The firmware also includes an additional numerical display that shows the length of integrated measurements.

Performance Improvements

The update also includes performance improvements to the timecode, chart, and histogram functions, as well as recalculation mode for integrated loudness measures. These enhancements are designed to provide a smoother and more efficient user experience.
