Seamless Frequency Coordination a Must

In an effort to bring people together for encouragement and worship, Joel Osteen's Night of Hope recently took place at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Behind the scenes, Professional Wireless Systems (PWS) played a crucial role in providing frequency coordination, backstage communication, and event support.

PWS successfully integrated Joel Osteen's wireless equipment to achieve rock-solid coordination within one of the nation's most congested RF cities. The company managed 70 frequencies site-wide, utilizing its expertise to clear the spectrum of communications and make room for microphones and in-ears.

Clear Communication Crucial

San Francisco is known for being one of the nation's most congested RF areas, with an abundance of DTV stations in close proximity. This created a potential for spectrum lockdown, making PWS' frequency coordination paramount to ensure an interference-free event.

The company also supported all wireless gear provided by Joel Osteen's audio production team, consisting of 24 microphones and 14 in-ears from Shure. John Garrido, the lead RF coordinator during the event, organized the equipment to provide complete freedom of movement for the onstage talent.
