Prime Image Introduces Software-Based Time Optimization
As broadcasters seek flexible models of operation to meet evolving media markets, Prime Image has released its Software Time Tailor (STT), a software-based time optimization tool designed to optimize the runtime of broadcast-quality video. STT enables content owners to create time for additional ad insertions and content trimming while maintaining creative intent.
The new solution offers the same functionality as Prime Image's established hardware-based Time Tailor products, but can run in either a cloud environment or on a generic Dell server in the customer's data center. All of Prime Image's Time Tailor products provide automated micro-editing of content that maintains creative intent while creating runtime for additional revenue-generating opportunities.
