Presteigne Appoints Seasoned Tech Executive
Broadcast equipment rental company Presteigne Broadcast Hire has appointed Simon Atkinson as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Atkinson brings extensive experience in technical project management and senior engineering roles to the role, which involves overseeing all engineering activities, including quality control and peak performance assessment.
Atkinson will report directly to CEO Mike Ransome and be responsible for developing strategic technology investment initiatives and market force evaluations. His appointment is effective immediately.

Atkinson joins Presteigne from Camera Corps, where he was responsible for new business and product development. With many years of experience in the broadcast sector, Atkinson is well-positioned to lead Presteigne's technology efforts.
In his new role, Atkinson will focus on identifying technology trends and marrying current and future technology hire capabilities with customers' evolving needs and purchasing habits. He will work closely with Ransome to ensure that Presteigne remains at the forefront of technological innovation in the broadcast industry.
