Sam Daley, a seasoned colorist with nearly 25 years of experience in the film and television industry, has been added to Picture Shop's renowned global team. His impressive resume includes work on acclaimed series such as HBO’s “Succession” and Amazon’s “Dead Ringers,” as well as features like “The Florida Project,” “Sorry to Bother You,” and “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.”
Daley Brings Extensive Credits to Picture Shop
Picture Shop president Cara Sheppard expressed enthusiasm about Daley’s addition, stating, “We are excited to welcome Sam to the fantastic team at Picture Shop. His experience and artistry will only further bolster our creative expertise.” Daley has been nominated for Hollywood Professional Association Awards in the categories of Outstanding Color Grading in Documentary/Nonfiction for “Descendant” (2023) and Outstanding Color Grading in Television for “Show Me a Hero.”
His extensive list of credits also includes feature films such as “Earth Mama,” “Charm City Kings,” “Sanctuary,” “Swallow,” and “Beirut.” Recent episodic work encompasses shows like “Gossip Girl,” “I’m A Virgo,” “Station Eleven,” “Scenes From a Marriage,” “Harlan Coben’s Shelter,” and “I Know This Much Is True.” Daley is an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).
Transitioning to Picture Shop
Prior to joining Picture Shop, Daley was with Light Iron and Company 3. He expressed his excitement about the move, saying, “I’m excited to be at a company with the scope and global footprint of Picture Shop. I can continue to collaborate with the filmmakers I work with as they take their talents throughout the continent and across the pond.”
