A 4K workflow demonstration was showcased at the recent BIRTV 2015 international broadcast show in Beijing, featuring PESA's Cheetah 4K router.

Systems Integrator GHG Partners with PESA

Guanhua Glory AV System Integration Co., Ltd. (GHG), a leading systems integrator based in Beijing, teamed up with PESA to demonstrate an economical 4K workflow on the show floor.

The demonstration used Sony 4K cameras and PESA's Cheetah 4K router, which is now available in multiple configurations to support both UHDTV (3840×2160) and DCI (4096×2160) signals.

PESA's Cheetah Router Offers Flexibility

The Cheetah router can mix and match between 4K CWDM and traditional copper or fiber I/O in the frame, providing a simple plug-and-play upgrade solution for any 3G-SDI Cheetah routing switcher.

Retrofit kits are available to replace existing 16-channel I/O card sets with the Cheetah 4K I/O card system, allowing the router system to run both 4K and 3G-SDI signals in parallel once the control software is configured for 4K.

GHG's Experience with PESA

GHG was founded in 1997 and has extensive experience in designing and integrating television studios, master control rooms, and OB production trucks.

PESA also showcased a full complement of digital video routers, DRS audio routers, converters and extenders, and multi-channel streaming appliances at the show, highlighting its range of products for broadcast, industrial, and commercial applications.
