With its newly-added application CUBA Graphics4K, Pace Media remains a step ahead when it comes to 4K-enabled broadcast tools. With Pace Media’s CUBA products, broadcasters are able to create a complete 4K workflow from ingest to playout.
CUBA Graphics uses the same powerful 4K graphics engine as in their proven integrated playout solution CUBA Playout. CUBA Graphics4K provides all features for individual channel branding like corner bugs, lower thirds up to sophisticated animated graphical elements. The CUBA Graphics solution comes with a wide range of functions including scaling of the input signal, 2D/3D DVE and includes the CUBA Creator template tool.
Information from external data feeds are rendered in real-time. CUBA Graphics can be controlled using VDCP or its own XML based control and metadata interface. CUBA Graphics uses internal keying and comes with two Quadlink 12G SDI interfaces for input and output up to full 10bit SDI support.
All features of CUBA Graphics are included in Pace Media’s proven, rock solid integrated playout solution CUBA Playout, enabling consistent 4K workflows. With CUBA Playout, content can be inserted via automation, manual control or secondary events whilst being created and/or modified in real-time when running an on-air operation. With the web-based CUBA Playout Management and Remote Control, operators are maintaining access and control of an unlimited number of channels and playout servers without being bound to a specific time or location.
All these functions now benefit of full 4K support and are already successfully running and in use with major customers. CUBA Playout and CUBA Graphics will be shown at IBC 2015 in Amsterdam, hosted as a guest at the Dynamic Drive Pool booth 7.H15.
