Nugen Audio Previews Loudness Toolkit Updates
At the upcoming IBC conference, Nugen Audio will showcase significant updates to its popular Loudness Toolkit. The latest version, Loudness Toolkit 2.8, includes a new loudness parameter called Dialogue LRA and enhanced workflow capabilities for efficient loudness management. These features are designed to help audio professionals meet the recent loudness guidelines, such as the Netflix best practice document.
The Loudness Toolkit, which consists of VisLM loudness meter, ISL limiter, and LM-Correct quick fix tool, now supports native 7.1.2 audio processing and offers advanced loudness control and dialog consistency through new loudness parameters. Additionally, the toolkit includes improved compliance alert indicators for SAWA (LEQm) standardization.
New Features Enhance Workflow Efficiency
The update also brings several workflow enhancements to the Loudness Toolkit. ISL now natively supports track counts up to 7.1.2, and LM-Correct can handle de-interleaved files offline in addition to existing stereo, 5.1, and 7.1 support. The toolkit will be available for Q4 2018.
Nugen Audio to Showcase Other Post-Production Bundles
In addition to the Loudness Toolkit updates, Nugen Audio will display its other post-production bundles at IBC, including the Surround Suite and NUGEN Post. These tools are designed for high-quality broadcast, film, and game audio production.
