Huntsville, Alabama – PESA, a leading designer and manufacturer of streaming solutions as well as professional audio and video distribution products, will demonstrate its new Video Emergency Management Services International (V-EMS-I) system at the 2016 NAB Show (Booth SL4621), which runs April 18-21 in Las Vegas, Nev. A mobile command and control AV system for law enforcement and first responders, it is designed for easy operation and quick deployment. β€œThe V-EMS-I allows local agencies to quickly establish a command post and monitor multiple live camera feeds or incident command workstations during an incident or training,” said John T. Wright, senior vice president of sales and business development. β€œIt’s V-EMS-Icompact and easy to V-EMS-Itransport, and it has an efficient design for low power consumption.” With equipment from technology partner Cobalt Digital, the V-EMS-I controls a wide range of digital and analog sources for viewing across multiple monitors or projection screens, with support for DVI and HDMI displays. A built-in multi-viewer displays up to 15 input sources (five per display), and includes layout presets for quick image sizing. The system supports up to WUXGA (1920Γ—1200) resolution, with projection output support for 4:3 or 16:9 formats. The V-EMS-I is available with medium (15 inputs / 8 outputs) and large (24 inputs / 16 outputs) connectivity. Both systems are housed in a rugged, weatherproof, and shock-mounted wheeled 7 RU case, and include a separate accessory transport case. A smaller version, the V-EMS-I Mini, supports up to eight inputs and four outputs, and is condensed into one 7 RU system case with a 4 RU accessory drawer. The V-EMS-I Mini, which will be on display at NAB, is also available without an integrated multi-viewer. Operation of the integrated control system (for large and medium systems) is designed around a touchscreen and intuitive graphic user interface, which allows users to label input sources and output destinations. Built for versatility in the field, the V-EMS-I supports 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI video, plus analog sources (with available adapters). Stereo audio is embedded in the video transport stream, allowing point-to-point switching in the video matrix. With a three-year limited warranty, V-EMS-I systems are now available starting at $30,000 for the V-EMS-I Mini.
