- Shure announced that two of its leading digital wireless systems—ULX-D and QLX-D—are now available in VHF spectrum, providing users with 42 MHz of tuning bandwidth in spectrum that is as predictable and as usable as today’s UHF TV band. The ULX-D and QLX-D VHF systems and accessories have the same features and benefits that the UHF systems offer, including spectrum efficiency, powerful recharging accessories, networking options, and rugged construction for everyday use.
- Shure will be previewing the latest versions of its Workbench System Control Software—Version 6.12. The update is designed to put maximum power and flexibility into the user’s hands. The addition of several new features will help wireless users better manage and monitor wireless system performance over the network, from pre-show planning through post-performance analysis. Version 6.12 also includes a new set of frequency coordination enhancements.
- Following the launch of Shure’s line of digital microphones and recording solutions, MOTIV, Tieline Technology—creator of high-quality remote broadcast digital audio codecs and innovator behind the award-winning Report-IT iOS app—announced its support for MOTIV. The digital iOS microphone line pairs seamlessly with Tieline’s Report-IT app that offers newsgatherers and live remote broadcast professionals the ability to turn any compatible iOS device into an ultraportable IP audio codec.
