NBC Olympics has chosen TAG Video Systems to provide OTT monitoring and multiviewing services for its production of the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo, Japan. The agreement will enhance NBC's ability to maintain signal quality throughout the event.
Integrated Solution
The partnership involves an integrated software-based IP probing, monitoring, and multiviewer solution that will monitor MPEG Transport Streams from Tokyo, log them, categorize them, and archive them in NBC Sports’ International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Connecticut. The system operates on off-the-shelf servers, enabling NBC Olympics to track signal health at every stage.
Custom Configurations
The solution also offers flexibility for custom configurations of the broadcasts on multiviewers, adapting to any scenario as needed. This capability is crucial for ensuring optimal performance during the two-week competition.
