At the upcoming 2019 Cine Gear Expo in Los Angeles, Sigma Corporation will display its entire range of Sigma Cine lenses, including new additions such as the 28mm T1.5 and 40mm T1.5 prime lenses. The exhibition, which runs from May 30 to June 1 at the LA Convention Center, is expected to draw a diverse audience of filmmakers and cinephiles.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience hands-on demonstrations of these high-resolution lenses, designed for advanced 6k and 8k cinema production. Sigma experts Eric Hall from its Burbank office and Takuma Wakamatsu from Japan will lead an interactive session on lens projection techniques in digital cinematography. The event is scheduled for two sessions: Friday, May 31 at 1:30 PM and Saturday, June 1 at 11:45 AM.

Additionally, Sigma's presence at the Cine Gear Expo will include a Digital Cinema Society panel discussion on buyer perspectives of large format cine lenses. Jared Ivy from Sigma’s Burbank office will participate in this session, which takes place Friday, May 31 at 3:45 PM.

Among the lenses to be showcased are the Sigma FF High Speed Prime series, including the 28mm T1.5 and 40mm T1.5. These primes offer consistent lighting and color reproduction throughout a production, making them ideal for previsualization before post-production.
