Maxon has unveiled several new initiatives aimed at broadening access to professional creative software. The company is launching a beta version of Cinema 4D for iPad, allowing artists to work with core 3D modeling and design capabilities on the go. Additionally, Autograph, a modern motion graphics application, will be offered free of charge to individual users. Maxon is also expanding its ecosystem to support Windows on Arm devices.

New Features Enhance Mobile Workflows

The beta version of Cinema 4D for iPad brings professional 3D tools to a mobile platform for the first time, optimized for touch workflows. This allows artists to explore ideas and work on projects anytime, anywhere. The iPad version complements desktop use, making it easier to transition between devices.

Autograph Now Free for Individuals

Maxon is reintroducing Autograph as a free download for individual users, offering core features for motion designers, 2D/3D artists, content creators, and compositors. The application supports industry standards like USD, OpenEXR, ACES, OpenColorIO, and OpenFX, and integrates with Universe and select Red Giant tools.

Expansion to Windows on Arm

ZBrush (desktop), Cinema 4D, and Red Giant tools within Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects are now available on Windows on Arm-powered devices. This includes Dell’s tablet lineup, Microsoft Surface Pro (Snapdragon X Elite), and other compatible tablets and desktop systems. Redshift is also supported with CPU rendering capabilities.
