Lindenwood University Deploys Hitachi HDTV Cameras for Student-Run Productions
Lindenwood University, a prominent liberal arts institution in St. Charles, MO, has chosen Hitachi HDTV cameras to support its School of Communications curriculum and Lindenwood University TV (LUTV) cable channel productions.
The university installed three high-end Hitachi SK-HD1000 studio/field cameras in its 40x40 foot LUTV studio, which produces educational and cultural programming. The SK-HD1000 cameras are used to deliver programming to local Charter Cable and AT&T U-verse systems for broadcast as well as Webcast via the university's website.
Lindenwood University Upgrades with Hitachi Z-HD5000 Cameras
Following a positive experience with the SK-HD1000 cameras, the university later purchased four Hitachi Z-HD5000 HDTV production cameras to produce live coverage of Lindenwood Lions NCAA Division II athletic events for its LUTV outlets. The Z-HD5000 cameras are part of a larger upgrade that encompasses building a new Student Athletics Center (SAC) with a new video production control room and campus-wide fiber optic cable network.
