So, here’s a little bit of what I will be looking forward to at the 2015 NAB Show:
Janet Anne West will be winging-in all the way from Paris, France on Friday to join us at the NAB Show! Janet has over twenty five years in the television and film industry, recent experience includes the BBC and raising the sustainability profile with regard to broadcasting technology and connected digital media. In addition, Janet is a recognized expert on HDTV – with clients such as: YLE, Network Seven (Aus), Sky, Metro Broadcast, Sony and Reed Midem at MIPCOM and MIPTV, she is also an airline rated pilot and D-Cinema consultant.
Janet is a university lecturer on Technology, Environment and Society and Values and Ethics with respect to sustainable development, and is often asked to speak on sustainability of broadcast and connected digital media. She hosted four one-hour live shows at IBC in Amsterdam in September of last year, looking at developing broadcasting technologies and also addressing their environmental impact.
She’ll be back with us again, but this time with her own film crew, going from booth to booth and chatting with the most fascinating of the products and people NAB has to offer! In fact, Broadcast Beat has FOUR FILM CREWS! Twenty-six people are working with us at the show and we even have a staff of video editors cranking out social media videos from our booth!
Don’t miss Janet West broadcasting LIVE from the Teradek Booth (C6025) Monday – Wednesday from 5:00pm-5:30pm at this link: http://nabliveshow.com
