Maxon is set to return to the NAB Show in Las Vegas with a lineup of presentations and demonstrations from April 13-17. The company will be located at booth SL4104, where attendees can explore new features and tools within its Maxon One suite.
The Maxon One suite includes applications for 2D and 3D design, animation, motion graphics, filmmaking, digital sculpting, rendering, and more. The company’s software supports a wide range of creative tasks, from modeling and sculpting products to color grading films and creating visual effects.
Industry Expert Presentations
Maxon CEO David McGavran expressed excitement about the event, saying, “We’re thrilled to return to NAB to share ideas with everyone. Our presenter lineup includes talented artists from various disciplines who will showcase new tools and workflow improvements in Maxon One.”
The presentations at Maxon’s booth will cover a variety of topics:
- Battle for Wu-York City: Jonathan Winbush will demonstrate how he uses Cinema 4D with Unreal Engine for Fortnite to create a video game experience featuring Method Man.
- Resurrecting Atlantis: Widget + UI Design in “Aquaman 2”: Robyn Haddow, Fantasy User Interface Designer, will present mograph systems and textures designed for the Atlantean ship display and Octobot from the film.
- Creating Board Game and Toy Commercials with Maxon Tools and Unreal Engine 5: Jon “Jags” Nee will explain how to use Cinema 4D and ZBrush for creating commercials and high-res renders in Unreal Engine 5.
- Mastering Particle Loops in After Effects: Erica Anderson will cover the basics of creating particle loops using Trapcode Particular in After Effects.
- Creating a Sci-Fi Short Film in C4D: Gryun Kim and Woosung Kang will provide an overview of their production process for the short film “WAI-000,” including tips on camera animation, mechanical animation, compositing with Universe, and advanced Cinema 4D techniques.
Demos and Interactive Experiences
In addition to presentations, visitors can experience a demo showcasing how a digital sculpt in ZBrush is transformed into a 3D-printed figurine. Maxon encourages press members to book one-on-one briefings with representatives for more detailed information about the company’s software solutions.
