Jimmy Swaggart's Ministry Taps Calrec Consoles
Reverend Jimmy Swaggart's SonLife Broadcasting Network (SBN) has invested in two Calrec consoles to ensure the clarity of its message. The Summa and Brio consoles are used for all live broadcasts, including six hours of studio production daily.
The SBN relies on the consoles' Hydra2 network, which provides complete redundancy and eliminates analog infrastructure. This setup allows the network to produce approximately six hours of live studio production daily, including various programs and three live services per week from Family Worship Center, the home church of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.
Improved Signal Quality and Reliability
SBN's director, Dave Cooper, notes that there was a noticeable improvement in signal quality and processing after deploying the Calrec consoles. He also highlights their reliability and cost efficiency for live telecasts.
