Nepalese TV Channel Taps Imagine for Automated Playout
Imagine Communications has supplied a virtualized playout and asset management system to Janata Television, a 24/7 news and entertainment channel based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The channel, which launched in 2017, needed an automated workflow to improve productivity and reliability. Imagine's solution features the Nexio Motion asset management software and Versio integrated playout solution.
Versio provides a true channel-in-a-box solution, handling playout and workflows while also supporting redundant signal paths and hardware for added security. The system was implemented by Broadcast Technology Limited, a systems integrator.
