I met James Capparelle, Marketing Representative, DPA Microphones from New York, NY at my first NAB Show in 2014 and asked him what advice he would have for someone who has never been to the NAB Show before. James advised, "Know what you are interested in seeing before you arrive because it is a big show!" I was surprised at how quiet the audio equipment area was. Plush carpeting muffled my footsteps as I walked past mixing boards and oscillators.
I asked James why he attends the NAB Show. "I attend as an exhibitor to represent DPA Microphones, a high quality microphone manufacturer located just outside of Copenhagen, Denmark."
He told me the best place to meet people at NAB is "On the show floor at the booths you are most interested in."
