iZotope has announced the release of its new RX Loudness Control plug-in, designed to simplify loudness correction for audio post production and broadcast professionals.
Automatic Loudness Correction
The plug-in uses intelligent DSP processing to guarantee transparent loudness correction and offer loudness tolerance metering across a range of program types. It supports mono, stereo, and surround channel counts up to 5.1 for seamless integration into any workflow.
RX Loudness Control eliminates the need for manual loudness adjustment, a time-consuming process that can be prone to human error. The plug-in is compatible with major audio- and video-editing platforms, including Avid Media Composer and Pro Tools, as well as Adobe Premiere Pro's open extension API.
Pricing and Availability
RX Loudness Control will be available for pre-order at NAB 2015 for $299 (£205 / €279), with an expected release in Spring 2015. The plug-in will retail for $349 / €325 / £239 (MSRP).
