New Limiter Algorithm Optimizes Workflow

iZotope has released an update to its RX Final Mix plug-in, adding a new low-latency limiting algorithm that enables mixers to deploy multiple instances across high-track-count sessions without processing delays.

The update also includes optimized dynamic EQ that uses up to 60% less CPU bandwidth. The new algorithm responds differently based on the characteristics of the audio source to deliver the most transparent output possible.

The low-latency limiter algorithm, which can be as low as 120 samples at 48 kHz, allows for smoother processing in high-track-count sessions. The dynamic EQ module has also been improved, providing greater control over the mix.
