IPE is set to highlight the latest developments in its Intelligent Display System (IDS) and emu3 Mark II intelligent power management system at this year's IBC 2018 conference.
IDS Enhancements
The IDS display and control solution now includes integration with Livewire automation systems, enabling real-time information sharing, including sound levels for remote confidence checking. Additionally, the system features a new profanity delay integration, allowing users to track priorities and adjust accordingly.
IDS enables users to integrate with and mine technical information from across a network; aggregate that information; and then either display or control the use of the information gathered in the most useful ways possible.
emu3 Mark II Advancements
The emu3 Mark II intelligent power management system will also be on display, featuring an embedded web server for continuous remote control and monitoring. The latest version includes voltage monitoring and display, as well as environmental parameters for assessment.
This critical information can be viewed at a glance, allowing users to see how safe and efficient a system is running, providing true preventative and proactive support on critical equipment.
User Feedback
IPE's IDS Head of Sales and Support Reuben Such emphasized the importance of user feedback in driving product development. 'Once seen, IDS becomes a ‘must-have’ workflow component,' he said. 'It has already established itself at major broadcast operations throughout the world and continues to grow in popularity.'
