Renge Dragon Studio Colors 63 Commercials with DaVinci Resolve 15
RengeDragon Studio, an Indian boutique studio, has successfully color graded 63 commercials in one month using Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve 15 collaboration workflow.
The studio utilized the latest version of DaVinci Resolve 15, along with the DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel and DeckLink Mini Monitor, to deliver high-quality results for their clients. The collaborative workflow allowed multiple artists to work simultaneously on a project, streamlining the post-production process and saving valuable time.
Renge Dragon Studio's Experience with DaVinci Resolve 15
According to Adolf Dsouza, Director of RengeDragon Studio, the team was able to achieve impressive results using DaVinci Resolve 15. 'Once the project has started on our office's shared network, our visual effects artist, compositors and rotoscoping artist start working on the ungraded timeline with the reference LUT (that was prepared during presentation pitch phase) while the colorist works on color grading the footage in the timeline,' he explained.
The studio also praised DaVinci Resolve 15's ability to handle RAW files, allowing for a high level of detail and minimal data loss. 'With DaVinci Resolve 15, we were able to create many options with the DOP sitting in during an interactive client-supervised session,' said Dsouza.

RengeDragon Studio also worked on the Vaseline Sun & Pollution Protection commercial campaign, delivering high-quality results for their clients. The campaign features stunning visuals and impressive color grading, showcasing the studio's expertise in post-production.
