Rock band Imagine Dragons has launched a new Twitch channel, giving fans a unique glimpse into life on the road. To make it happen, they're relying on Telestream's Wirecast software, which allows them to stream live from anywhere with a decent internet connection.
A Behind-the-Scenes Look
Imagine Dragons' project manager Turner Pope is responsible for the initiative. 'The Telestream guys have been really supportive,' he says. 'With Wirecast, we can easily stream to popular platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Azure.'
Pope's team has set up a mobile streaming setup using Blackmagic cameras and switcher, along with Razer computers. They're able to connect their cameras, microphones, and even their Blackmagic Design's ATEM switcher to stream directly to their Twitch channel at the click of a button.
A Tour in Real-Time
Imagine Dragons plans to live stream from various stops on their current tour. Viewers can see their live stream and watch past videos at
