Virgin Media Television Ireland has transitioned its Landmark Sales operations from on-premises infrastructure to a fully managed cloud service provided by Imagine Communications. This shift aims to streamline operations, reduce hardware costs, and improve disaster recovery capabilities.

The move to the cloud allows Virgin Media Television to focus on its core business while relying on Imagine Communications for infrastructure management. Eoghan McGonagle, head of sales operations and performance at Virgin Media Television, highlighted the seamless transition and the benefits it brings. “What really amazed us was how completely painless β€” and really fast β€” the migration was,” he said. The cloud service provides better disaster recovery capabilities, ensuring business continuity.
