The IEEE Broadcast Technology Society is inviting researchers and professionals to submit their work for consideration at its upcoming symposium. The deadline for extended abstracts has been pushed back from the original date, allowing more time for interested parties to prepare their submissions.
Set to take place in San Antonio, Texas, from October 15-17, this year's IEEE Broadcast Symposium will cover a wide range of topics. Attendees can look forward to sessions on cellular broadcasting technology, mobile DTV systems, streaming content delivery, non-real time (NRT) broadcast services, and second-screen technologies.
“We are excited about the variety of topics that will be explored at this year’s symposium,” said a representative from the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society. “Our goal is to provide valuable insights into the latest advancements in broadcast technology.”
The symposium will also feature sessions on optimizing broadcast studio design and construction, as well as IT requirements for the industry. Additional topics of interest include green energy, IP, digital radio, and monitoring systems.
Prospective presenters are encouraged to submit their extended abstracts by May 22 via email to bts@ieee.org. A detailed list of typical topics can be found online.
