The new output licensing agreement will grant Hulu the pay one window streaming rights to films released by the major film distributor. The deal reinforces Hulu’s continued efforts to double down on film programming and will bring new titles to the streaming service later this year. Through the new deal, the films will become available to stream exclusively on Hulu following their theatrical run. Future releases will begin streaming on Hulu in the later half of 2017.
