Genius Digital, the expert in audience analytics, today announces that it will launch its new Multiscreen Analytics tool, and share its unique expertise in the art of data science at TV Connect 2016, highlighting how data insights can help operators across the broadcast and media industries turn knowledge into action. Additionally, Tom Weiss, CEO of Genius Digital is to chair the ‘Big Data and Real-Time Analytics’ conference stream at TV Connect 2016.
With the TV industry relentlessly seeking new ways to get closer to viewers, it is more important than ever for operators to create value by utilising the vast amounts of data available from the services they provide. Visitors to TV Connect 2016 will be able to see first hand how Genius Digital (Verimatrix booth #90) blends the art and science of data together to maximise the value of capturing, analysing and applying this viewer data to effectively target their customers.
At the show, Genius Digital will be able to discuss how its Insight Platform utilises ‘data science’ by gathering, cleansing and warehousing return-path data from operators, and delivers ‘data art’ through deriving actionable operator insights (AOI) to help reduce churn, optimise targeting strategies and launch new profitable services.
Genius will also highlight how its consultants on the ground can help operators find the black holes and inefficiencies in their data operations, and pivot their data strategies towards generating revenue and saving costs.
One of the new additions to this year’s TV Connect will be the launch of the Genius Digital Multiscreen Analytics tool, which can be integrated directly into the existing Insight Platform. The launch follows the recent partnership announcement with Astro, the leading Malaysian media broadcaster, and enables Genius Digital to be the only vendor capable of providing a combined view of customer behaviour on both set-top boxes (STBs) and multiscreen devices.
An additional highlight of TV Connect 2016 will be the Big Data & Real-Time Analytics Conference where Tom Weiss, CEO, will be chairing the big data conference on 26th April in Conference Room 2.
“Its great to see that the TV industry is increasingly embracing the science of data collection to generate insights about their subscribers. However, data alone can’t provide the answer to all of the problems operators face,” said Tom Weiss, CEO Genius Digital. “This is where honing the art of data is particularly important. At TV Connect we’ll highlight how utilising these insights effectively ensures that operators can create targeted campaigns that have a direct impact on their ability to attract and retain customers.”
