GatesAir Secures FM Radio Win in Bulgaria
GatesAir, a leading provider of wireless content delivery solutions, has secured a significant FM radio contract in Bulgaria. The company's Flexiva FAX transmitters have been chosen by BTV for eight high-power FM radio sites.
The transmitters will be delivered in redundant N+1 configurations to ensure maximum uptime and include Direct Drive designs to simplify RF designs and enhance overall efficiency.
Key Factors in the Decision
The exceptional reliability and performance of GatesAir's Maxiva DVB-T and DVB-T2 transmitters in operation at BTV television facilities were key factors in the decision. Low power consumption and reduced operational costs associated with GatesAir transmitters were also cited as important considerations.
BTV expects to continue building out its FM radio network with GatesAir Flexiva transmitters as new sites are added.
