Ben Marth has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for Northwest USA and Western Canada at GatesAir. Effective immediately, Marth will oversee sales and client relationships across television and radio, while also representing the company at industry trade shows and SBE meetings.
Marth's Extensive Experience
Marth brings over two decades of sales, broadcast, and leadership experience to GatesAir. Most recently, he served as Sales Manager for Broadcast Electronics, overseeing sales and client relationships across the Western US and Canada. During his tenure, he managed a diverse portfolio of products including transmitters, automation, and RDS software, while supporting operations and presenting at industry events.
Prior to that role, Marth was Regional Sales Manager for Digital Scoreboards, where he led sales and targeted marketing efforts with community organizations across the Midwest. His deep understanding of the broadcast landscape will be a valuable asset to GatesAir.
Customer-Centric Approach
In his new position, Marth's primary goal is to uphold GatesAir's strong tradition as a television and radio transmission provider. He aims to support the company's distinguished presence in the market by carrying on its customer-driven culture. "GatesAir takes care of its clients in a unique and admirable way," Marth commented, "and it’s my mission to continue that."
Joining at a Pivotal Time
Marth joins GatesAir as the company continues to innovate in the broadcast industry. In March, GatesAir announced a new ATSC 3.0-ready platform designed to power its low-power UHF transmitters, including the award-winning PMTX-1 outdoor systems. This platform increases processing power and provides a field-upgradable path from ATSC 1.0 to 3.0, making NextGen TV deployment more accessible for broadcasters in various market sizes.
"Ben’s deep broadcast expertise and track record of strategic sales leadership make him a strong fit for this role," said Mark Goins, Vice President of Global Sales at GatesAir. "His understanding of the regional market, coupled with his dedication to long-term client relationships, aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver competitive services and solutions for our TV and radio broadcast customers across North America."
