Envoi has introduced a new solution named Express Lane, designed to address the challenges faced by producers of ultra-high resolution (UHR) and immersive content. This integrated platform aims to streamline the distribution process by leveraging various third-party technologies.

New Solution Targets High-Volume Content Production

The Express Lane solution will be available for early access at NAB New York from October 22nd to 23rd, 2025. It is particularly tailored for owners of specific Blackmagic Design cameras, including the URSA Cine 17K 65, PYXIS 6K, PYXIS 12K, and URSA Cine Immersive, as well as customers from PacGenesis, Melrose Mac, RebootCS, and Storage.Media.

UHR cameras like the Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K 65 generate vast amounts of data due to their high-resolution capabilities. The URSA Cine Immersive camera, which captures content for Apple Immersive Video using dual 8K sensors, produces even larger files. Envoi’s solution facilitates quick and efficient cloud storage and media management through a 400 Gbps internet connection.

Comprehensive Integration with Partner Solutions

The Express Lane platform integrates multiple partner solutions to provide a seamless workflow from data transfer to final delivery. AWS Data Transfer Terminal offers secure physical locations for rapid data transfers to AWS, while IBM’s Aspera and Data Expedition ensure fast and secure data movement.

AJA ColorBox

For storage and media asset management, Envoi supports Qumulo’s Cloud Native platform and WEKA’s storage platform in AWS environments. Additionally, it integrates with Geyser Data’s virtual tape library for archiving cold data to LTO-9 tape.

Advanced Media Processing and Management

The solution incorporates various tools for media processing and management, such as Hiscale’s FLICS for scalable video transcoding, Dolby OptiView, and Dolby Hybrik API integration. Accurate.Video provides media workflow applications, while iconik handles media asset management.

Envoi has integrated the ability to transcode and distribute Blackmagic Cine Immersive .BRAW footage proxies through iconik. The solution also supports deploying DaVinci Resolve on MacOS-based EC2 instances and Linux-based g6.48xlarge EC2 for high-performance transcoding tasks.
