This collaboration aims to help affiliates create on-demand spec spots more efficiently, reducing costs and speeding up the time-to-air process.

The SpecAI technology utilizes generative AI models to produce audio content and automate voice tracking for new advertisements. The solution will be demonstrated at the NAB Show New York, where ENCO will exhibit in Booth 517 alongside representatives from Benztown and Compass Media Networks.

Compass Media Networks will lead sales and marketing efforts for SpecAI. The company is known for its extensive portfolio of branded audio programs, reaching millions of listeners daily through broadcast and streaming platforms. Yamanair Creative, part of Compass Media Networks, has been a leader in providing spec commercials and creative services to radio broadcasters.

Benztown, an existing ENCO partner, will contribute its expertise in radio imaging, production libraries, programming, podcasting, jingles, and voiceover services. The company's extensive network of more than 3,000 affiliations across six continents will aid in international sales efforts.

Workflow and Features

The SpecAI workflow is designed to be user-friendly. Account executives can generate scripts by answering a few questions about spot length, writing style, and sponsor details via web browser or mobile device. Users can then edit the generated scripts manually or request re-generation through phonetics to refine the copy.

Users select their preferred AI voice and music bed before downloading the final down-mixed audio file. The process is streamlined, with completed spots available in seconds.
