ENCO is demonstrating enhancements to its enCaption live captioning software, now in its fifth generation, at InfoComm. The updates include a 20 percent boost in accuracy and better handling of multiple speakers, making it more effective for live presentations and events.
New Features and Integrations
The latest version of enCaption also integrates ENCO’s enTranslate solution as an optional plug-in module. This addition allows automatic live translation into 34 languages, expanding accessibility for non-native speakers. The software supports deployment on-premises, in the cloud, or via hybrid workflows, providing flexible options for various AV needs.
Impact and Applications
ENCO’s enCaption software is designed to enhance audience engagement by ensuring that presentations are easy to follow, particularly for those with hearing impairments. The technology can be applied in a variety of settings, including houses of worship, municipalities, and live event venues.
Additional Demonstrations
In addition to enCaption, ENCO will showcase its ClipFire platform at the show. ClipFire is an automated content-delivery system that integrates automatic ingest, media asset management, graphics, and playout automation. New features include support for multiple video channels with baseband SDI and NDI inputs and outputs, as well as on-the-fly transcoding.
Ken Frommert, President of ENCO, highlighted the company’s focus on innovation in AV captioning solutions. “We’re excited to show InfoComm attendees how our captioning workflow innovations can support varied live productions,” he said. “With flexible deployment options and pricing models, enCaption makes it easy for integration experts to enhance presentations across different environments.”
InfoComm is taking place June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center.
