
Virtual reality company SubVRsive, based in Austin, Texas, has announced the hiring of Johannes Larcher as their new CEO. Larcher comes from many years as an executive at Hulu and will be replacing company founder Austin Mace as head of the company. Mace will move to become Chief Creative Officer. Larcher had previously been with Hulu in the capacity of a senior vice president.

While at Hulu, Larcher oversaw the company's operations which saw the launching of their HuluJapan operation while under his watch. The company also recently announced that it raised over $4 million in a recent funding drive which the company will use to produce more content and to hire on some new employees.
The company has partnered with many major players in the industry and mainly produces 360 degree content.
