EditShare Bolsters Production Asset Management Capabilities
EditShare, a leading provider of intelligent shared storage and media management solutions, has announced the latest release of Flow, its production asset management platform. The new version, Flow v3.2, brings significant enhancements to support 4K production workflows and remote editorial collaborations.
The updated platform offers scan and proxy support for 4K formats such as ProRes 4444 XQ, Sony XAVC, and RED (.R3D) files, as well as single-file-per-frame image sequences including DPX, CinemaDNG, ARRIRAW, PNG, and TIFF.
Remote Collaboration Gains
Flow v3.2 also introduces new AirFlow capabilities that enable users to batch-download both original media files and Flow proxies via a web browser, expanding the possibilities for remote editorial workflows. This feature is particularly useful for broadcasters and content creators working on collaborative projects across different locations.
RWF World, a broadcasting company composed of Emmy award-winning journalists and filmmakers, relies heavily on AirFlow to collaborate on documentary research and development. Tom Roberts, IT and post-production supervisor at RWF World, notes that AirFlow has revolutionized their workflow:
