DPA Microphones has introduced the DLS4000 Location Sound Kit, a comprehensive solution designed for sound professionals in the film and broadcast industries. The kit includes an array of DPA's renowned condenser microphones along with over 20 accessories to cater to various recording applications.
Mic Selection
The kit features two 4097 CORE Micro Shotguns, one 4098 CORE Supercardioid Microphone, and a selection of other models. The 4097 is versatile for discreet mic planting, interviews, and voiceovers, with its water-repellent housing suitable for inclement weather. The 4098, known for its low noise and high sensitivity, offers natural sound and is ideal for live interview scenarios.
Boom Miking Solutions
Included are two 4017B Shotguns and two 4018C Compact Supercardioid Microphones. These microphones provide accuracy and clarity in broadcast and ENG environments, as well as for use with camera systems or fixed positions in sports facilities and studios.
Miniature Omnidirectional Microphones
The kit also includes a range of DPA’s 4060 Series Miniature Omnidirectional Microphones. This series offers two each of the 4060, 4061, and 4071 CORE Omnidirectional Microphones, along with one 4661 CORE Heavy Duty Omnidirectional Microphone for high-intensity sound in rugged environments.
Lavalier Microphones
Four 6061 CORE Omnidirectional Subminiature Microphones (two each in beige and black) and two white 6060 CORE Omnidirectional Subminiature Microphones are included for close miking talent. These microphones, at just 3 mm in size, provide clarity and durability suitable for any broadcast application.
