DNAV has promoted Mike Adachi, known as ‘Mike D,’ to the role of full-time Field Services Engineer. Effective immediately, Adachi brings his expertise in audio processing and background in music production to DNAV, enhancing the company’s field services capabilities.

Adachi Brings Valuable Experience

“Mike is a syndicated mix show host with 20 years of experience on both sides of the microphone,” says Daniel Hyatt, Principal of DNAV North America. “His background in music production and engineering adds impressive audio processing skills to our team.” Adachi’s extensive career includes roles as a commercial and imaging director for Cox Radio Hawaii from 2004-2012.

Supporting Advanced Audio Solutions

In his new role, Adachi will specialize in DNAV’s representation of the Orban audio processing line. His responsibilities include developing standards-based IP transport solutions such as SMPTE 2110-30 for PCM audio over IP and SMPTE 2022-7 for network path redundancy. He will also support Audinate’s Dante audio and video solutions.

Expanding Customer Support

Adachi will cover regional field service work from the Midwest to the East Coast, assisting with software programming for products from Sierra Automated Systems and other networked radio systems. His appointment follows recent additions of Brad Roybal and Ben Ackerman as Field Services Engineers covering other territories.
