IBC 2018: Dejero Unveils Enhanced Connectivity Solutions

Dejero, a leading provider of cloud-managed solutions for video transport and internet connectivity, will showcase its latest blended connectivity solutions for broadcasters and media organizations at IBC 2018.

The company's CellSat solution now features midstream activation, allowing users to seamlessly switch between cellular-only and CellSat transmission paths without interrupting the transmission. This enhancement provides greater cost control and reliability when contributing high-quality video content from the field.

Dejero CellSat blends cellular connectivity with Intelsat's Ku-band IP satellite connectivity to deliver exceptional picture quality and greater reliability while on location. The solution has already enabled Canada's Global News and Entertainment Tonight to deliver 7 hours of on-location live coverage of the Royal Wedding.

New GateWay Router Offers Enhanced Reliability

Dejero is also showcasing its new GateWay M6E6 router, which features six embedded modems for high-throughput bidirectional data transport. The router provides greater flexibility in connecting networking equipment and additional transmission paths, such as satellite.

LiveU Pay-As-You-Go

The GateWay solution allows crews working on location to access their newsroom or media asset management systems, quickly send and receive large files, access cloud services, communicate with their colleagues via VoIP, and enables any other application requiring internet access. This robust mobile connectivity solution has been tested by Team Sky during its victories at the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France.

Latest EnGo Transmitter Offers Enhanced Video Quality

The latest Dejero EnGo transmitter features increased processing power to boost overall performance and deliver enhanced picture quality. The device combines Dejero's industry-leading auto-transport and adaptive bitrate encoding technology with the HEVC video compression standard.

Dejero will also demonstrate the latest updates and preview upcoming features to its cloud-based management system, Dejero Control.
